CAST BIOS
Jack Nickerson – Drake
Jack is pumped this is his second production! Jack is a 7th grader at Flatirons Academy and plays on the middle school basketball team. He’s active in the Youth Group at his church and volunteers for KUVO Public Radio. Jack is very creative and can build just about anything. He can usually be found in his studio at home or at the Anythink Library making something cool. Jack is having a great time here at NYT and plans to do many more productions!
Etta McCurty – Ida
Etta is 11 years old and is a 6th grader at Westlake Middle School. She is thrilled to be back for her 4th show at NYT! Some of her favorite roles include: Chip in Beauty & The Beast, Shprintze in Fiddler on the Roof, Brigitta in The Sound of Music, Veruca Salt in Willy Wonka, and Anna in Frozen. She has won 1st place vocal awards at the Night Of The Stars Competition and danced on Taps N Toes’ competition team. Etta would like to thank Kristel, Mikaela, Kimberly, and Veronica for this opportunity and LOVES her NYT friends/family.
Millie Marquez – Maureen
Millie is both thrilled AND excited to be playing Maureen in Honk Jr. In fact, you might say she’s “thrixcited™”. Some of her favorite NYT Jr. roles include Violet Beauregarde in Willy Wonka Jr., Sherlock Holmes in The Enchanted Bookshop, and Gloria (the hip, hip hippo) in Madagascar Jr. Outside of theatre, Millie is a student council member, amateur skin-care guru and one of Zelda the dog’s favorite humans. Slay.
Luna Province – Ugly
Luna is an actress, who after seeing Chicago the Musical in theaters, wanted to pursue theatre. She has been in 3 productions so far. Two of which were with Northglenn Youth Theatre. She took a summer worth of classes and loves to sing as well as dance. She loves theatre and loves the people around her. She appreciates her friends, loves desserts, music, and everything comfy. Luna is proud of herself and loves her mom and dad for allowing her to do what she loves most, theatre.
Rocco Wilcox – Downy
Rocco is excited to be back with his friends for his 3rd NYT production. He played Robbin Hood in the “Enchanted Bookshop” and Lew Lemur in “Madagascar”. When not quacking around on stage, he enjoys playing video games, reading and being outside with his imagination. He would like to thank the cast and crew for making this such an amazing show and fantastic memory. Thanks for coming and enjoy the show!
Kanishka Sukumaran – Beaky
Kanishka Sukumaran is currently a third grader at Praire Hills Elementary and she is ecstatic for her first show as an actor. If not in school, you can see Kanishka as a Bharathanatyam dancer, or young artist growing her talent. She would like to thank her parents for always pushing her to nurture her talents and for the car rides!
Ryker Schindler – Billy
Ryker is thrilled to be performing in his 2nd show at Northglenn! He caught “the bug” less than 2 years ago and since then has been in 8 productions. His favorite roles thus far have been Kurt Von Trapp in The Sound of Music and Winthrop in Music Man. He’d like to thank his sister, Mikaela, for introducing him to the arts, his other sister, Lexi, for inspiring him, his twin bothers, Kobe & Cade, for supporting him, and his mom and dad, Holly & Andrew, for all the commutes to/from the theatre.
Bee Yaddof – Fluff
Bee is beyond happy to be in her first NYT Jr. production! She has learned so much from taking NYT classes from improv to musical theater and is thankful for the entire Honk! Jr. cast and crew for teaching her even more. Enjoying anything creative, Bee loves to dance and create art in her free time along with raising money to save the bees. She would also like to thank her family for their support while chasing her dreams!
Amelia Grant – Cat
Amelia is excited to be preforming in her first NYT Production! Previous show experience include Sebastian in The Little Mermaid and Amelia Gabble in Aristocats Amelia is in 4th grade at STEM Lab. Amelia is a Girl Scout, loves to read, ski and spend time with her family and friends. Amelia would like to thank her parents for helping her follow her dreams and driving her to all the places she needs to be. Shout out to my BFFs for being the best. Thank you to a fun cast and crew for making this a great show!
Ellie Wagers – Grace
Ellie is twelve years old and is absolutely elated to be in her third production with NYT! Her other shows include Alice in Wonderland (Cook), and the Enchanted Bookshop (Fagin). She has won two awards, including most improved and above and beyond. When Ellie is not on the stage, you can find her drinking bubble tea, and eating ramen. In this production, she is playing Grace and a froglet. She would like to thank her director, Kristel, for being calm and supportive, her family, friends, and the wonderful cast she has been privileged to work with, for being wonderful and sweet.
Gabby Herd – Jay Bird
Gabby is so thrilled to be back at NYT for her 4th show! She has previously been in the shows Madagascar Jr. as Mason, The Enchanted Bookshop as Queen of Hearts and Winnie the Pooh as Indigo. Currently, Gabby is a 6th grader at Rocky Top Middle School. In Gabby’s spare time she loves to draw, roller skate, and spend time with her family and friends. Gabby would love to thank her parents for driving her to rehearsal and all of the cast and crew for being wonderful! Please enjoy the show!
Ian Amaro – Greylag
This is Ian’s 5th NYT production. He first had his NYT Jr debut as Rabbit, (Winnie the Pooh) and Fingers, (The Enchanted Bookshop), Melman, (MadagascarJr) and many more! He has enjoyed being part of this community and would like to thank his family and friends for his support and encouragement for his love of theatre.
Lilia Uzcategui – Dot
Lilia, an 11-year-old attending Stargate Middle School, is a talented actor who loves art, writing, and video games. With two previous productions under her belt, she’s no stranger to the stage. She would also love to show some appreciation for her amazing voice teacher, Sarah Barber McCurdy and her great family!
Karigan Kirkley – Barnacles
Karigan is excited to be back at NYT for her 3rd show, previously starring as Dorothy in The Enchanted Bookshop and Madagascar Jr. She has also appeared as young Fiona in Shrek and the Elephant Bird in Seussical when she was 3. When not performing on stage, Karigan loves to entertain herself through movies, books, bowling and gaming with her family and friends. She would like to thank her parents for their support, Ms. Grace for giving her the opportunities at JA to perform and all of the cast at NYT for their support and friendship.
NYT Academy
Northglenn Youth Theatre Academy (NYTA) participants explore real-world acting, vocal, and dance technique as well as audition and performance skills all while having fun! NYTA strives to provide a positive, collaborative, and confidence-boosting artistic outlet targeting both beginners and veteran actors alike.Theatre classes are a great place to start an artistic journey and develop a love for the arts and theatre.

Sydney Williams – Pink Foot
This is Sydney’s 5th NYT production and she is delighted to be back on stage. Sydney has previously performed in My Sister the Dragon, Willy Wonka, Game of Tiaras, and Madagascar. She is in 7th grade at Century Middle School and has enjoyed participating in their theater program as well. She also enjoys running 5k races with her dad, traveling, and spending time with friends. Sydney would like to especially thank her little sister Kylie for coming to every single show and giving her so much support.
Autumn Mariotti – Snowy
Autumn is super excited to be Snowy in her 5th NYT production! She most recently was Maurice in Madagascar and especially loved being Tom Sawyer in The Enchanted Bookshop. Autumn is a proud Studio School alumni and is enjoying 6th grade at Broomfield Heights Middle School. Autumn loves swimming, singing, reading, and finding adventures with her family and friends. Autumn would like to thank her family for all their support and to send a big hug to all her NYT cast and crew mates!
Katelyn Calley – Bullfrog
Katelyn is 11 years old and is attending Thunder Vista. When not on stage you can find her reading historical fiction books, listening to Taylor Swift, or hanging with her friends. Katelyn is excited to be back at NYT for her 2nd production. Previous shows she has been apart of include Rainbow Fish, Buddy the Elf, Willy Wonka, and most recently Madagascar. Katelyn would like to thank her family, friends, and fellow cast members for all their support in helping her achieve her dream of becoming an actress.
Chloe Hinton – Penny
Chloe is thrilled to be in her sixth NYT production! Previous shows include Madagascar, The Enchanted Bookshop, Alice in Wonderland, Willy Wonka, and Winnie the Pooh. She has also acted in her school’s performances of Toy Camp, Big Bad: The Musical, and James and the Giant Peach. Chloe is a 7th grader at Bromley East Charter School in Brighton. When she is not acting, she enjoys cooking and painting. She would like to thank the cast and crew for being so supportive and kind during this amazing show!
Cambrie Kinsey – Mother Swan
This is Cammi’s 2nd NYT production. Previous shows include Madagascar, Shrek and Lion King. Cambrie is a 6th grader at Quist Middle School. When not on stage, you can find Cambrie doing gymnastics, practicing clarinet, or reading. Cambrie wants to thank the entire production cast and staff for accepting her with open arms! Enjoy the show!
Emma Bucher – Father Swan
Emma Bucher is so happy to be in this musical. This is her second production at Northglenn Youth Theater. She would like to thank her older brother, Jack, for helping her with her song and monologue. He encouraged her to keep trying. She also would like to thank all of her friends for being so supportive and kind.
Will Moore – Bewick
This is Will’s first show at NYT. He auditioned to try out a new activity and so far he has been really loving it and plans to do few more shows in the future. Will likes playing video games and hanging out with friends. Will has been in a few musical activities like choir, mariachi and folkloric dance and other activities such as basketball and soccer. Will’s twin sister Micaela is also performing in Honk Jr. That’s about it for Will.
Em Long – Ensemble
Em is excited to be in her first NYT production. She is a 6th grader at Silver Hills Middle school where she is a member of the drama club and serves as a leader on the Sources of Strength Team. She is currently rehearsing for her school musical, Abandoned Way Out West. When she’s not on stage, you can find her volunteering as a unified partner with Special Olympics or singing karaoke with her friends. Em would like to thank her mom and dad for their support in pursuing her dreams of acting.
Ireland Bennett – Ensemble
Ireland has performed in Shrek as young Fiona and Cruella de Vil in Descendants. She is a 5th grader and received the award of Right Hand to Director with Rocky Mountain Kids Theatre. She loves crochet, legos, piano and just hanging out with friends when she’s not performing.
Ensley Mills – Ensemble
This is Ensley’s first production at NYT, but she has had minor roles in drama club at Stem Lab where she is a 4th grader. When Ensley is not pursuing her acting career, she spends her time being an active Junior Girl Scout, enjoys crafting, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her little sister. Ensley would like to thank her fellow actress and best friend, Amelia, for encouraging her with her acting skills and also her family for their support.
Micaela Moore – Ensemble
Micaela is so excited for her second performance at NYT. Micaela performed as the role of lioness in Madagascar at NYT. Recently, Micaela performed as Juana in the play La Llorona. Micaela is a fifth grader at Escuela Valdez and has always loved singing and acting. Micaela’s dream is to become a well known actress. Micaela is also very athletic and is a part of a gymnastics community. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Xander Harrison – Ensemble
Xander is very excited to be back at NYT for his 3rd production. Previous shows include Winnie the Pooh and The Enchanted Bookshop. Xander is a 6th grader at Stargate Middle School. When not performing he enjoys time with his friends, playing soccer and playing video games. Xander is also enjoying cuddling & playing with his 2 kittens as well. Xander would like to thank his family for supporting him in following his dreams.
Zoe Peterson – Ensemble
Zoe is so excited to be performing in Honk Jr.! This is her 5th production with NYT. Past NYT Jr. shows have included Willy Wonka, Alice in Wonderland and Winnie the Pooh. Zoe is a 4th grader at Prairie Hills Elementary where she is involved in Battle of the Books, No Place for Hate and choir. In addition to theatre, she enjoys drawing (especially dragons!), playing games, and hanging out with her dog, Piper.
Izzy Sprague – Ensemble
Izzy is excited to be a part of her first NYT production. Izzy previously performed with the 5280 Theatre Company in High School Musical, Frozen, and Elf. Izzy is a 3rd grader at Reunion Elementary School and a member of Student Council. She loves art, gymnastics, singing, reading and spending time with her family. She would like to thank her family for being so supportive of her throughout this new adventure!
Lucy Hosterman – Ensemble
Lucy is thrilled to be back at NYT for her 7th production! Previous shows include Biggity Bad, All Together Now, Frozen, Willy Wonka, Alice in Wonderland, and most recently Winnie the Pooh. Lucy is a 6th grader at Hulstrom K-8. When not on the stage you can find her doing art, dancing, singing, watching Twilight, or cuddling with her dog. Lucy would like to thank her entire family for supporting her and driving her to practice, her choir teacher for making her a much better singer, and the entire NYT team for making this amazing performance happen!
Jubilee Ehlis – Ensemble
Jubilee is so excited to be in her very first NYT show!! She is a 3rd grader at Ascend homeschool co-op. In her free time, Jubilee likes to draw and play basketball. She is so excited to follow in the footsteps of her older siblings. Enjoy the show!
Esther Ehlis – Ensemble
Esther is ecstatic to be performing in her sixth show at NYT! Previous shows include Madagascar, Winnie the Pooh, Alice in Wonderland, Willy Wonka, and Frozen. Esther is a 5th grader at Ascend homeschool co-op, and in her free time she enjoys playing many sports such as basketball, softball, and volleyball. She also loves to hang out with her friends and sing. Esther would like to thank God and her family, and she hopes you enjoy the show! Psalm 23.
Sophia Kafer – Ensemble
Sophia is thrilled to be a part of Honk Jr. for her second production at NYT. Previously, she participated in the ensemble of Willy Wonka and received the Director’s Choice Award. She is currently in 7th grade at ASCEND Thornton Christ-Centered Co-op, where she performed in Generation Pan, The Enchanted Bookshop, and Character Matters. Serving on the worship team at her homeschool co-op, playing volleyball, and crocheting are a few of her favorite activities. Sophia would like to thank Aliyah Ehlis and Rachel Crosby for encouraging and guiding her in her theater journey. Psalm 25:21.
Keller Odekirk – Ensemble
Keller is so happy to be back on the Parsons Theater stage with NYT. He has previously been seen in Alice in Wonderland and Winnie the Pooh Jr. and has also played Chip in Beauty and the Beast as well as Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol. Keller enjoys his singing lessons with Spark Music, reading all the time and building Lego sets. He would like to thank his whole family and specifically his Nana and Papa for all the help and support they’ve provided across all his shows!
Skylar Bowdey – Ensemble
Skylar is so excited to be apart of Honk Jr.! This will be Skylars 6th performance at NYT! Includng, Frozen (Ensemble), Willy Wonka (Oompa Loompa), Alice in Wonderland (card 10), Winnie the Pooh (Ensemble), and her most recent Madagascar! (Steak and Ensemble) She is very happy to be performing and hopes you enjoy the show!
Sadie Cohara – Ensemble
Sadie has taken a lot of classes at NYT and is excited for her stage debut! A fifth-grader at Birch Elementary, Sadie is in the choir and Student Voice. When she’s not on stage, she likes to draw cartoon animals and read piles of books. Sadie is a fierce environmentalist and loves turtles. She would like to thank her family for being supportive and awesome.
Joanie Johnson – Ensemble
This is Joanie’s second show with NYT. She played Lemur in Madagascar this fall. Joanie is thrilled to be a part of Honk, and very excited to play her favorite animal, a chicken! She is a fifth grader at Tarver elementary. Outside of theatre she enjoys art, swimming, and being creative. Joanie would like to thank the cast and crew of Honk Jr. for making this experience great!
