KITE (Kids Interactive Theatre Experience)
Ages 5-7 | Time: 8am-10am
The camp will focus on a new idea each day, some days starting with a story and then acting it out, others days creating little scenes with different costume pieces, props and drama games.

This class dives into the world of backstage roles and responsibilities -every participant will get safety training and hands-on experience with the tools and gear we use for running a show – including lights, sounds, set, rigging and more!

Ages 11-15 | Time: 9am-12pm
In this camp, we will walk through the playwriting styles and exercises, finding the stories that we want to create and topics we wish to address with our stories.

This camp will focus on the very basic building blocks of costume design. We will pick a production and work on creating a costume design for the show to come to life.

In this camp, we will work on a variety of popular musical theatre songs, focusing on the vocal skills and techniques specific to stage performances.
Ages 8-12 | Time: 9am-12pm
This camp will focus on learning a variety dance steps featuring favorite Broadway tunes. A must-take building-block camp for any musical theater actor.
Ages 10-15 | Time: 9am-12pm
This camp will focus on the basic building blocks of stage painting, painting techniques that help a stage to look realistic and dynamic for an audience – including techniques for wood grain, brick, stone, fabric and more!

Missoula Children’s Theatre: Title TBD
MCT arrives with a set, lights, costumes, props and make-up, everything it takes to put on a play…except the cast. Register and you get to join the cast of 50-60 local students to perform in the production. Roles are assigned on Monday (all registered will get a role onstage). Rehearsal times are assigned based on the role. The show is rehearsed throughout the week and two public performances are presented at the end of the week in the Parsons Theatre. Tickets to the performances are NOT included in the tuition price and must be purchased separately. Pre-registration only, limited spots available in each age group.
