ABOUT NORTHGLENN PLAYERS
Northglenn Players (NP) is Northglenn’s own theatrical resident acting company for adults. Northglenn Players is a relatively new acting group, providing live theatrical shows since 2012.
Northglenn Player’s mission is devoted to the creation and professional production of original theatrical works, to present quality live theatre to the community at affordable prices, and to provide a performance vehicle for members of the community, over the age of eighteen. NP was created to give youth graduating from the NYT program a continuous connection to community theatre. Northglenn Players is committed to providing family-friendly staged entertainment for our community.
Currently, Northglenn Players produce two large productions each year performed at the DL Parsons Theatre. One show is produced in the fall and one in the summer months; with an open casting call for each show approximately two months prior to the opening night performance. Past performances have included Addams Family, The Drowsy Chaperone, 1940’s Radio Hour, Inspecting Carol, Grease, Godspell and Moby Dick.
Northglenn Players receives support from the Northglenn Arts and Humanities Foundation, SCFD, the City of Northglenn and private sponsorships.
