Community Rooms & Activity Room

The Community Rooms and Activity Room are four separate rooms great for baby rehearsals, meetings, seminars, parties and more! Community Rooms 1 & 2 or 2 & 3 can also be combined for gatherings of larger groups – rates and capacity are those rooms’ details combined from the chart below.

Please note: food is allowed in all rooms. The catering kitchen is available for food prep/plating if your event is using a caterer for a fee of $50.

Community Room Rental Availability:

The ability to rent rooms follows a trimester schedule:

  • For rentals from January-April, community members can begin submitting inquiries the previous October 25
  • For rentals from May-August, community members can begin submitting inquiries the previous February 23
  • For rentals from September-December, community members can begin submitting inquiries the previous June 23
    **Any inquiries submitted before the dates of the schedule will not be honored.

NEW AVAILABILITY CALENDAR and BOOKING PROCESS

We are happy to announce a new availability calendar with booking:

  1. When you click below, use the calendar to find the date you are hoping to rent, when you click that date you will see which rooms are available and when.
  2. Times are in on hour blocks of availability – click each time block you are hoping to rent the space (you must rent at least 2 consecutive hours of space, two consecutive blocks). Select “Add to Cart” when you have all the time you wish to rent.
  3. The system will prompt you to log-in or create a user profile – note: if you need to create a profile, that profile will need to be approved on the backend before you can move ahead. 
  4. In the checkout process, it defaults to paying 100% of the fee. You can adjust that amount by changing the percentage, but you must pay 50% down to reserve the space.
  5. With your receipt, you will also receive the reservation agreement attached to the email, which will need to be returned with the second 50% of the fee for the rental to be finalized.
  6. Then you should be good to go!

Parsons Theatre

The Parsons Theatre is a 335 seat proscenium theatre that opened in 2021 and is available for rent. Space is limited but inquiries are welcome.

Use of the Parsons Theatre is prioritized as follows:

  • Northglenn Youth Theatre/NYT Jr/NYT Academy
  • Northglenn Arts Presents
  • Rentals
    • Repeat rentals on same date*
    • New requests

Rental Rates

*if a rental falls on a federal holiday date, renter will be charged 1.5 times the rental fee

NOTE:  Theatre rentals have a 5-hour minimum and a 12-hour daily maximum. All rentals are required to submit a damage deposit via check or have a credit card on-file we are authorized to charge in the event of damage during a rental.

  • Two technicians (included in all rental times)

Additional Fees (same rate for all rental times) that may be required:
Patron Services: $30/hour – for when an audience is attending during a rental
Lighting/Audio Upgrade 1: $150 fee per rental – for when additional set-up is required for lights or audio (for example: if using 3-5 mics)
Lighting/Audio Upgrade 2: $300 fee per rental – for when additional set-up is required for lights or audio (for example: if using 6+ mics)
Lighting/Audio Upgrade 3: $500 fee per rental – for when significant additional set-up is required for lights or audio

Non-consecutive rental: $500 per day – when a rental needs the space “held” between rental dates

Additional Fees (same rate for all rental times) that a renter can add on:

Solo Dressing Rooms with showers (2 available) – $50 / room / day
Marley Dance Flooring – $150 / rental
Hazer / Fog Machine – $100 / day
Stage Platforms – $100 / platform / rental period
Adjusting Pit – $100 per rental / adjustment
Additional Mics – $10 / mic / day
Additional Mics (not in stock) – $20 / mic / day
Keyboard – $100 / day
Upright Piano – $100 / rental
Grand Piano – $250 / rental
Additional Technicians – $40 / hour / technician

Other Amenities:

Outside Concessions – Food and drink are allowed in the theatre. Rentals can bring in their own concessions, however alcohol is not allowed to be sold by outside concessions. All outside concessions must pay sales tax on anything sold.
Northglenn Concessions – Rentals can also request that Northglenn Arts opens their concessions during their rental time. If that is the case, Northglenn can sell alcohol, refreshments and light snacks. All concessions revenue would go to the City of Northglenn. There is currently not a fee for this service.
Ticketing – Northglenn is able to provide ticketing to theatre rentals through its AudienceView Professional ticketing platform. There is a 10% per ticket service fee for the service.

Rental Inquiries

The Parsons Theatre is currently accepting requests through May 2026 however there is very limited inventory. Rental inquiries for June 2026 through May 2027 will be accepted February 1, 2026. Inquiries will be considered in order of receipt. *December rental dates do not automatically rollover to the next year. Other occasional dates may not rollover throughout the year based on the priority utilization list.
