Fischer Sudderth … James
Fischer is overjoyed to play James in his 2nd production. Cast as Little Ogre in Shrek Jr. he fell in love with NYT. He is a 4th grader at McKinley Thatcher Elementary, where he has a close group of friends. He enjoys playing outside, drawing, golfing, skiing, building forts with his little brother, and playing video games. Fischer would like to thank his family and friends for coming to watch the show, as well as the cast for becoming such wonderful friends.
Emerson Shumate … Ladahlord
Emerson is thrilled to be back at NYT for their 3rd show! You may have seen them as The Lady in Red (Enchanted Bookshop) or Peter Pan (Shrek Jr.).Emerson attends 7th grade at Century Middle. When not on stage, their nose is probably in a book, or they might be singing at the top of their lungs. Emerson would like to thank the KCs, the cast and crew and their mother and father. Now prepare to enjoy this wonderful tale filled with a bit of magic, some crocodile tongues and masterful disguise.
Chloe Hinton … Aunt Spiker
Chloe is thrilled to be in her 9th NYT show! Previous shows include Midsummer Night’s Dream, Shrek, Honk, Madagascar, Enchanted Bookshop, Alice in Wonderland, Willy Wonka, and Winnie the Pooh. She has also acted in her school’s performances of Toy Camp, Big Bad: The Musical, and James and the Giant Peach. Chloe is in 8th grade at Bromley East Charter in Brighton. She would like to thank the cast and crew for being so supportive during this amazing show!
Keira Quinn … Aunt Sponge
Keira is delighted to be back at NYT for her 5th production! Previous shows include Shrek, The Music Man, Finding Nemo, Mean Girls, Spongebob the Musical, Newsies, Winnie the Pooh, Alice in Wonderland and Willie Wonka. Keira is an Honor student attending 7th Grade at Oberon MIddle. She enjoys writing, hiking and listening to music. She thanks her family and friends for their support and hopes that you enjoy the show!
Etta McCurdy … Ladybug
Etta is currently a 7th grader at Westlake Middle. She is thrilled to be back at NYT for her 6th production! Etta loves writing, singing and of course, everything theater. Some of her favorite past roles at NYT include Veruca Salt in Willy Wonka and Anna in Frozen. Some other favorite roles are Chip in Beauty and the Beast at the Arvada Center and Brigitta in Sound of Music at BDT Stage. Etta would like to thank her directors, mom, dad, and brother for always believing she could pursue her dreams.
Wrangler Esquibel … Grasshopper
He returns for his 2nd performance with NYT, having previously appeared in Madagascar. He is an active member of Freak Flag Theater, and performed in productions such as The Lion King, Shrek, and Matilda. He enjoys playing football and baseball and is currently a 6th grader at Quist Middle. He finds joy in singing along with musical artists like Morgan Wallen, Jon Pardi, and Post Malone. This past summer, he spent lots of time at Water World and volunteers regularly with the Thornton Youth Corps.
Christiano Dahl … Earthworm
Christiano Dahl, a 7th grader at Thornton International Middle, is thrilled to make his debut in theater with the role of Earthworm. He is eager to bring his character to life. Christiano enjoys singing in the choir, playing tennis, and indulging in video games and movies. He extends his heartfelt thanks to his Dad and Grandpa for inspiring him to follow his dreams and to the cast and production team for making this experience truly wonderful.
Logan Spatafore … Centipede
Logan is thrilled to be back at NYT for his 8th production, his last at the junior level. Previous NYT shows include Frozen, Winnie the Pooh, and Shrek. Outside of NYT his favorite performances include The Addams Family and The Little Mermaid. Logan is an 8th grader. When not on stage, you can find Logan playing games, swimming and using his creativity to make pipe cleaner art and stop motion videos. Logan would like to thank his family for encouraging him to follow his acting dreams.
Millie Marquez … Spider
This is Millie’s 10th NYT Jr. show and is, by far, the best fruit-related musical Millie has ever been in. Previous non-fruit credits include Pinocchio in Shrek, Maureen in Honk!, & Gloria in Madagascar. Millie can’t wait to participate in future fruit-forward shows such as The Grape Gatsby, Berry Poppins, Plum Like It Hot, and Pear-spray.
Ellie Wagers … Matron Nurse
Ellie is ecstatic to be back at NYT for her 4th production! Previous roles include Grace in Honk!, Fagin in The Enchanted Bookshop, and Cook in Alice In Wonderland. When she isn’t acting, you can find her listening to My Chemical Romance and laughing at her pet lizard, Lizzie. She would love to thank the cast of this amazing production, and her amazing family and friends: Emmalie, Lucy, Beverly, Brody, Nora, Parker, Simon, Hemah, Sophia, and Tyler. AAAAH! THE PEACH! RUN!!!
Zoe Peterson … Puppeteer
Zoe is so excited for this production of James and the Giant Peach. She has been a part of several previous NYT productions, including Willy Wonka, Alice in Wonderland, Winnie the Pooh, Honk, Madagascar, and Shrek. Zoe is a 5th grader at Prairie Hills Elementary. When she is not on stage, she loves drawing, playing with her dog Piper and hanging out with friends.
Sadie Cohara … Puppeteer
Sadie is excited to be a puppeteer in her 2nd show at NYT. With a nickname of “Sadie Bug,” she feels right at home with this cast of critters! When she’s not on stage, she likes to draw cartoon animals and read piles of books. Sadie is a fierce environmentalist and loves turtles and houseplants. She would like to thank her family for being supportive and awesome.
Livy Cosgrove … Puppeteer
Livy is excited to be back with NYT. Her previous productions include Winnie the Pooh, The Enchanted Bookshop, Madagascar and Shrek. along with The Studio School production Frozen. She enjoys martial arts, swimming, and spending time with family and friends. She would like to thank her directors, choreographers, her amazing teachers and principal, and her family and friends for all of their support.
Zachary Niebylski … Ensemble
Zachary is excited to be cast in his 1st NYT production. Zachary performed in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory cast as an oompa loompa at his elementary school. Zachary is a 6th grader at Aspen Creek Middle where he is in Choir. Zachary enjoys reading, video games, playing music, and hanging out with friends. Zachary would like to thank his family for supporting and encouraging him going out for this role. Zachary would also like to thank his cast, who has been so much fun to work with and become good friends.
Eleanor Whalen … Ensemble
Eleanor is an 11-year-old aspiring actress with a passion for the performing arts. She has honed her skills at the Denver Center for Performing Arts, where she participated in an immersive camp. Eleanor has also taken an improv course, showcasing her quick thinking and creativity on stage. She enjoys performing cultural dances at school, which allows her to celebrate diversity and express herself through movement. Eleanor is excited to bring her enthusiasm and talent to the stage in this production.
Xander Harrison … Ensemble
Xander is a 7th grader at Stargate. Xander is very excited back for his 5th production at NYT. Previous shows include Winnie the Pooh, The Enchanted Bookshop, Honk, and Shrek. Xander enjoys bike riding, video games, singing in the shower, and most of all spending time with friends. Xander would like to thank his parents and amazing cast at NYT for all their support.
Elsianna DeLeon … Ensemble
Elsianna is delighted to be in her 1st NYT production. Previous shows include Broken Wheel, Take the High Road and Letters. She has also performed as a ballerina in The Nutcracker. Elsianna has appeared as a co-star in The Cleaning Lady and has been in several films and commercials. She is a competitive USAG gymnast and loves to sing, dance and swim. She would like to give a shout out to her family, friends and mentors who have inspired her to reach and obtain her goals.
Izzie Del Pizzo … Ensemble
Izzie is excited to be back for her 2nd production with NYT! She previously appeared in Shrek. She is a 6th grader at STEM Lab and is a member of the National STEM Honor Society. In her free time she enjoys gaming, riding her bike, and drawing.
Emma Bucher … Ensemble
Emma is thrilled to be involved with this show. She has enjoyed working with NYT in the production of Honk and Winnie the Pooh. Emma is a 7th grader at Rocky Top Middle where she was Spot Conlin in Newsies. She would like to thank her big brother, Jack, for encouraging her to audition and be involved in theatre.
Katelyn Calley … Ensemble
Katelyn is thrilled to be performing in her 3rd NYT show! Recent credits include Honk, Madagascar, and Rainbow Fish. When not on stage, Katelyn enjoys jamming to Taylor Swift or hanging out with friends. She is excited to bring this show to life and hopes you enjoy this nostalgic childhood favorite. Katelyn would like to thank everyone who has supported her acting journey, as well as her fellow cast members for making this experience unforgettable!
JoJo DeLeon … Ensemble
JoJo is excited to be a part of her 4th NYT show. Previous shows include My Sister, The Dragon, Frozen, and All Together Now. JoJo has also performed in DCPA’s A Doll’s House. JoJo is a proud alumni of The Colorado Children’s Chorale where she enjoyed performing at Boettcher Concert Hall and other venues. She also enjoys modeling, singing and acting in films and commercials. JoJo would like to thank her family, teachers, friends, and fellow cast members for their continued support and encouragement.
Lilia Uzcategui … Ensemble
Lilia is a 7th grade student at Stargate Charter. Her recent roles include Dot in Honk, Madagascar, and Winnie the Pooh. She is excited to be part of this show! When she’s not on stage she enjoys playing volleyball with her friends, baking, shopping, and spending time with her dogs.
Em Long … Ensemble
Em is happy to be back at NYT for this show. She was previously in Honk and Shrek at NYT. She is in 7th grade at Silver Hills Middle, where she is in choir and drama club. When she’s not on stage, she loves to sing and spend time with her friends. Em would like to thank her family and the amazing cast and tech crew.
Kyleigh Lucas … Ensemble
Kyleigh is thrilled to be participating in her 4th NYT production. She previously participated in Winnie the Pooh, Madagascar, and Shrek. Other productions at the Studio School include Matilda and Frozen. She is now a 6th grader at Century Middle. She would like to thank her parents for always pushing her to grow and her brothers and sister for being the best siblings a girl could ask for!
Micaela “Mica” Moore … Ensemble
This is Mica’s 4th show at NYT. Her previous performances include Madagascar, Honk and Shrek. Mica was most recently featured as Tiger Lily in the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of Peter and Wendy. Mica is entering the Denver School of the Arts as a 6th grade vocal major. She is a competitive gymnast and thankful to her family and friends for their support.
Skylar Bowdey … Ensemble
Skylar is absolutely thrilled to be in her 7th NYT show! Previous shows include, Honk, Madagascar, Winnie the Pooh, Alice in Wonderland, Willy Wonka, and Frozen! She would like to thank her friends and family for their support!
Allie Judd … Ensemble
Allie is excited to be performing in her 3rd NYT production. Her previous roles include Baby Bear in Shrek and Toto in The Enchanted Bookshop. She is a 4th grader at Prospect Ridge Academy. She enjoys painting, tennis, reading, and writing and would like to thank her little sister, Emmy, for being her number 1 fan and her big sister, Kaitlyn, for always pushing her to do her best. She is grateful for her family and friends for always supporting her.
Rocco Wilcox … Ensemble
Rocco is a 5th grader at Aspen Ridge. He’s excited to be back at NYT for his 4th production. He previously played Robin Hood in The Enchanted Bookshop, Lew Lemur in Madagascar and Downy in Honk. In his free time, Rocco can usually be found reading a book, writing his own story or tossing a football. Rocco would like to thank the amazing cast and crew for making this whole experience so much fun.
Nora Zeles … Ensemble
Nora is a 12 year old girl who loves theater and everything with it.This is her 1st NYT show and she loves it! She goes to Aspen creek PK-8 and is in 6th grade. She loves hanging out with her friends and playing softball. Nora loves NYT and is planning on coming back in the future!
Kaitlyn Judd … Ensemble
Kaitlyn is excited to be performing in her 3rd NYT production. You may have seen her as Bombarurina in The Enchanted Bookshop or in the ensemble of Shrek. In addition to acting, Kaitlyn enjoys playing tennis, swimming, having fun with her two little sisters, playing with friends, and doing crafts. She is a 6th grader at Prospect Ridge Academy. Kaitlyn would like to thank her director, Kimberly, for not only making this show amazing, but creating lots of fun in the process. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Devyn Knoepfle … Ensemble
Devyn is thrilled to be performing in her 2nd show at NYT! She has played the role of Young Fiona in Shrek, Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Kiara and Kula in The Lion King, and Aladdin in Aladdin. When she’s not on stage, Devyn likes singing, creating art, learning new dances, writing stories, and spending time with family and friends. Devyn thanks her family for being supportive of her and her passions.
Millie Mao … Ensemble
Millie is thrilled to be joining NYT for her 1st production. She recently discovered her passion for theater after watching musicals with her mom. She performed a mini version of James and the Giant Peach Jr. over the summer and is excited to be doing the full version. Millie is a 4th grader at STEM Lab and is in Choir, Ukulele Club, Drama Club, and the National STEM Honor Society. She would like to thank her family and teachers for supporting her musical theater journey.
Ahja Sales … Ensemble
This is Ahja’s 1st NYT performance, and she couldn’t be happier to be apart of the cast. Ahja’s favorite thing is spending her free time acting and singing at home for her family, speaking in different accents, creating abstract art, and practicing makeup artistry. Ahja is always the life of the party and shining bright, inside and out. She is thankful for this experience and looks forward to continuing her acting career in hopes to attend DSA.
