SYNOPSIS
The Brothers Grimm fairy tales are getting a wild and wacky makeover in this hilarious take on the classics! Two narrators try to cram all 209 Grimm stories into one crazy show, with favorites like Snow White, Cinderella, Hansel and Gretel, and many, MANY more. Along with a fantastic cast, they’ll bring these tales to life in the funniest, most unexpected ways. And heads up—you might get pulled into the action! Whether it’s helping pick which candy house to munch on or steering the characters through their adventures, you’ll be part of the fun!

Ryah Swan … Narrator 1, Enchantress
Ryah is stoked to be in her 1st play at NYT! She has done many other shows including Newsies (Race), Percy Jackson(Clarisse), and Sister Act (Sister Mary Lazarus/featured dancer). When not on stage, she enjoys drawing, painting, rock climbing, baking, and playing the drum set in her Jazz 2 band at Horizon High! She would like to thank this incredible community of actors and staff at NYT for making her feel so loved. They have truly changed her life. 🙂
Logan Spatafore … Narrator 2, The Devil
Logan is 13 and super stoked for his 1st senior show at NYT. This is his 18th stage production, including 8 with NYT Jr. Some of his favorite roles include Centipede James & The Giant Peach, Olaf Frozen, Tigger Winnie the Pooh, & Gomez Addams The Addams Family. When not on stage, you will find Logan watching TV, reading, arts & crafts, and making stop motion videos. Logan would like to thank his family for their encouragement of his acting dreams.
Keira Quinn … Girl, Fishergirl
Keira is thrilled to be back at NYT for her 6th production! Previous shows include James and the Giant Peach, Shrek, The Music Man, Mean Girls, Spongebob, Winnie the Pooh, Alice and Willie Wonka. Keira attends 7th Grade at Oberon Middle, and it’s no surprise that her favorite class is Advanced Theatre. Keira also enjoys reading, sewing, and listening to music. She would like to thank her friends and family for their support.
Chloe Hinton… Rapunzel, Cinderella
Chloe is thrilled to be in her tenth NYT production! She has been in many previous shows which include the NYT productions of “James and the Giant Peach”, “Midsummer Night’s Dream”, “Shrek”, “Honk Jr.”, “Madagascar Jr.”, The Enchanted Bookshop”, “Alice in Wonderland”, “Willy Wonka Jr”, and “Winnie the Pooh.” Chloe is in her 8th grade year at Bromley East Charter School in Brighton. She would like to thank the cast and crew for being so supportive and kind during this amazing show!
Emerson Schumate … Talking Fish, King 2, Father
Emerson is thrilled to be back for their 4th NYT production. Previously they’ve played Ladahlord in James and the Giant Peach, Peter Pan in Shrek, or The Lady in Red in The Enchanted Bookshop. Emerson is in 7th grade at Century Middle where they play the cello in the orchestra. When not on stage you might find them reading or singing at the top of their lungs. Emerson would like to thank the cast/crew for this SPECTACULAR show and their mom who always says yes topursuing their passion.
Mariana Aburto … Princess, Snow White
Mariana is a passionate 7th-grader, and has performed in six previous NYT productions, including Sister Act, Shrek, Honk, The Enchanted Bookshop, Madagascar ,and Winnie the Pooh. When Mariana is not on stage she enjoys reading, baking, playing the violin in the orchestra, and volunteering. She thanks her family and NYT for their constant support and this incredible opportunity.
Ian Amaro … Frog Prince, Dwarf 2
Ian is back with his 7th NYT production! He first had his NYT Jr debut as Rabbit, Winnie the Pooh, Shrek in Shrek,Melman Madagascar and many more! He has enjoyed being part of this community and would like to thank his family and friends for their support and encouragement for his love of theatre. He hopes you enjoy this wild show!
Max Gray … King, Dwarf 1
Max is overjoyed to be a part of her 2nd NYT production. Previous shows include a variety of Missoula Theatre shows and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She is a freshman at Northglenn High and enjoys sports, baking, theater and dance. Max would like to thank her family for encouraging her to pursue theater and helping her run lines. She would also like to thank her friends for their constant support, encouragement and humor.
Sydney Williams … Little Red
This is Sydney’s 7th NYT production. Previous shows include A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Game of Tiaras, and My Sister the Dragon. Sydney is thrilled to be playing Little Red. When she is not on stage, she enjoys running 5Ks, playing piano, and hanging out with her friends. Sydney would like to thank all the cast and crew for their hard work in bringing this production to life!
Grady Quinn… Rumpelstiltskin, Crab
Grady is excited to join the cast for his 1st NYT show! He has performed in shows including: Dress Rehearsal for Murder, King Arthur’s Quest, and Radium Girls. Grady is a Senior at Ralston Valley High where he’s involved in theatre and performs in the Concert Choir. Grady is a black belt in Tae kwondo, enjoys playing pickleball, video and card games. He would like to thank his friends and family for their encouragement and support.
Etta McCurdy … Crab Person 2, Prince 3
Etta is a 7th grader at Westlake Middle and is back for her 7th NYT production! She loves writing, singing, and everything theatrical. Past roles at NYT include Ladybug in James and The Giant Peach, Fiona in Shrek and Veruca Salt in Willy Wonka. Other roles include Brigitta in The Sound of Music at BDT Stage and Chip in Beauty And The Beast at the Arvada Center. Etta would like to thank her directors, family, and best friend for giving her the support and resources to pursue her dreams.
Caleb Hubbard … Prince, Chet Dobray
Caleb is happy to be in his 3rd NYT production. Previous shows include Alice and Madagascar. Caleb is in 8th grade at Drake Middle where he is in drama club and choir. When he is not on stage, you can find him reading a book, playing video games, and playing bar games such as darts, pool, and ping pong. He would like to thank his parents, his friends, and the amazing cast and crew!
Wrangler Esquibel … Prince 2, Johannes
Wrangler returns for his 3rd performance, having previously appeared in James and the Giant Peach and Madagascar. A member of Freak Flag Theater, he’s performed in The Lion King, Shrek, and Matilda. He enjoys football, baseball, and video games. A 6th grader at Quist Middle, he loves singing along with artists like Morgan Wallen and Post Malone. During the summer he loves Water World and volunteers with Thornton Youth Corps. He’s a loving, big brother and aspires to be a neurosurgeon.
Wren Gray … Hansel, The Wolf
Wren is elated to be a part of this production, their 4th at NYT! Previous roles include Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Ernie/Mary Theresa in Sister Act. They are 17 and currently attend FRCC. They enjoy singing in choir, reading, playing guitar, hiking, and drawing. Wren would like to thank their fantastic family and friends for their support, and is so honored to get to work with such a wonderful and talented cast and crew.
Hannah Cieto … Gretel
Hannah is a 7th grader from Westminster. She is excited to participate in her 1st NYT production. Previous stage experience includes playing Hopeful in An Enchanted Journey, and Fanny Crosby in A Fanny Crosby Story with her homeschool co-op. She loves to sing and lends her vocals to worship band at her church and at Freedom Academy in Broomfield. In her spare time, she enjoys tennis, crafting, fashion and any opportunity to laugh.
Mica Moore … Witch, Raven
Mica is thrilled to be performing for the 6th time with NYT. Mica has performed in James and the Giant Peach, Peter & Wendy, Shrek, Honk, and Madagascar. Mica loves singing, acting, dancing and is living her dream as a young performer on the stage. Mica is also a competitive gymnast and a sixth grader at DSA, majoring in vocal music. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Emma Griffith … Witch 2
Emma is thrilled to be performing in her 1st NYT show. Previous roles include Gretl VonTrapp at EHS, Veruca Salt at Jesters Dinner Theater, Glinda at GVE, Rapunzel, Scuttle, and Prince Hans at CenterStage. Emma is 12 years old and in 6th grade. She is always involved in a show and happiest when performing. She would like to thank Ms.Juline her voice coach, and her friends and family for all of their support. Also a big thank you to Jesse and everyone who made this show incredible!
Chistiano Dahl … Woodcutter, Audience
Christiano is excited to return to NYT for his 2nd production. He was previously seen in James & The Giant Peach. A seventh grader at Thornton International Middle School, Christiano is active in Honor Choir, Chess Club, Fitness Club, Movie Club, and Jr. Honor Society. Outside of theater, he enjoys gaming, reading, and inventing. He thanks his dad and grandpa for inspiring him and the cast for being such a wonderful group to work with. Christiano is thrilled to continue pursuing his dreams!
Adonis Maldanado … Actor, Dirt Merchant
Adonis is excited this is his 4th performance. Previous roles in Night Terrors, Clue, and Percy Jackson. He is an aspiring actor and is currently a junior at Jefferson Academy Secondary. In his down time he enjoys playing games online, bowling for the school team, and hanging out with friends. One of things he is known for is his ability to read, speak and write in Spanish fluently. Adonis would like to thank his family for the support and hopes be on the red carpet one day.
Autumn Mariotti … Mother, Queen
Autumn is over the moon to be in her 7th NYT production! She has especially loved being Chip in Beauty and the Beast, Tom Sawyer in The Enchanted Bookshop, and The Wicked Witch in Shrek Jr. She is a 7th grader at Broomfield Heights Middle and a proud Studio School Alumni. She also enjoys dance club, reading excessively, drawing, and playing with the best dog in the universe, Huckleberry. Autumn wants to send a huge hug to all her cast and crewmates, the NYT staff, and her family for making this a great show!
Lilia Uzcateugui … Grandma
Lilia is 12 and in 7th grade at Stargate. She has been involved in several previous productions at NYT including Winnie the Pooh, Madagascar, Honk, and James and the Giant Peach. Outside of acting, Lilia enjoys singing, playing volleyball, and baking. She’s grateful for the opportunity to continue learning and growing as a performer and is looking forward to showing this amazing show!
Aksel Gangji … Walt
Aksel is thrilled to be back for his 9th acting role and 12th overall production with NYT. A three-time NYT award winner, including the Unsung Hero Award, Aksel is grateful for the opportunities he’s had to grow as a performer. When he’s not on stage, he enjoys binge-watching his favorite shows and catching up on sleep. He thanks his family, friends, and cast for their constant support and hopes you enjoy the show!
Lauryn Behrends … Plinkie Plie, Girl With No Hands
Lauryn is excited to be in her 1st performance at NYT! She has been in productions at school that include The Little Prince, Guys and Dolls and The Worst Christmas Pageant Ever. Lauryn loves soccer almost as much as being on the stage and she also enjoys drawing, singing and being creative any way she can.
