MOTONES & JERSEYS: HOLIDAY Hi-Fi BIOS

LEO BATLLE studied Musical Theatre and Dance at UNC and has spent the last 15 years singing and dancing all over Colorado. You may have seen him at Boulder’s Dinner Theatre and the Candlelight Dinner Playhouse. You can catch Leo styling hair at Fringe Hair Studio. He would like thank his friends and family for their endless love and support.

THEO WILSON is a founding member of the Denver Slam Nuba team, winner of the National Poetry Slam. He attended Florida A&M, where he obtained his B.A. in Theater. After viral video success, his social media following grew to well over 130,000 people. Theo is the host of The History Channel’s hit series, “I Was There.” He has been featured on Good Morning America, BuzzFeed, CNN, Good Day Canada, and TV One.

VALERIE IGOE has appeared at theaters all over the state including the Denver Center, BDT Stage and Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre. Thanks to Kenny, Jess and the entire MVJ team for giving us all a chance to bust out some holiday tunes!

BRIAN JACKSON has been a Jersey with MVJ since 2017. He is a Colorado Native and has been performing in the area for the past 23 years. You may have seen him in a show at the Arvada Center or at BDT stage was a regular for 18 years. Thanks to my family Julia, Hazel, and Frankie all the love and support!

MICAH “BLUE” J. LAWRENCE transferred to UNC in the fall of 2020 as an Acting Major with a minor in dance. Notable credits include Nomax (Five Guys Named Moe), Benjamin Coffin III (Rent), Bill Calhoun (Kiss Me, Kate!), and Javert (Les Miserables). Micah would like to thank their family, friends, partner, and Motones and Jerseys for all of the love and support.

JALYN WEBB has been a performer and vocal coach for the past 25 years, and worked on shows such as Madame Thenardier (Les Miserables), Mrs. Lovett (Sweeney Todd), Justice (Rock of Ages), Emma Goldman (Ragtime), and Louise (Always, Patsy Cline)and has appeared at Starkey Theatrix, The Union Colony, Carousel, Greeley Stampede Troupe, Little Theatre of the Rockies, and the Greeley Philharmonic and Fort Collins Symphony.

MOSES BROWN has appeared as Audrey II (Little Shop of Horrors) and as The College Student (Tomfoolery). Some other credits: Don Pedro (Much Ado About Nothing); Robbie Heart(The Wedding Singer); Stacee Jaxx (Rock of Ages); and La Cienega (Bring It On). Moses will also be staring in Songs For a New World at the end of October. He’s honored to be sharing the stage tonight with this insanely talented crew!

BARRET HARPER has performed across the country but is excited to perform in Colorado, where he considers home. He was last seen as Tarzan at Candlelight Playhouse and in Arvada Center’s Christmas Carol. Other credits: First Date, Mamma Mia! and Jesus Christ Superstar, Dead Man Walking, Rock of Ages and Producers , Footloose, Fantasticks, Little Night Music, Spamalot and Rock of Ages,Hairspray, Forever Plaid. JAKE BELL is originally from Memphis, TN where he also earned his BFA in Musical Theatre. Jake was last seen as Sonny Malone (Xanadu). National Tours: Paw Patrol Live: Race to the Rescue. Regional: Aaron(First Date); Jeter/Ensemble (Footloose); Prince Eric (Disney’s The Little Mermaid); Melman (Madagascar). Jake would like to thank Nik and Jessica for this opportunity and being incredible teachers throughout this process. Go Jerseys!!
