Lilly Sergeeff

Charlie Bucket      

Lilly is thrilled to be part of Willy Wonka Jr as Charlie Bucket in her last Jr production! She is very grateful to have had the chance to work with this cast. Previous shows include “Peter Pan”, “All Together Now”, “Frozen Jr”, and many others. When she is not singing or in the theatre, she can be found skateboarding or cooking! She would like to thank Mr Soukup, Mrs Melissa, her parents, Her Uncle Christopher, Janelle and Ms.Christina for their support through her journey! She can’t wait to see what’s ahead of her! Enjoy the show!

 

Duncan Jones

Willy Wonka

Duncan is thrilled to be in his fourth NYT production and to be playing his first lead role. His earlier productions include “The Worst Play in the History of Ever,” “All Together Now” and his latest role was the Duke of Weselton in “Frozen Jr.” Duncan will be a 7th grader at Prairie View Middle School next year. Duncan enjoys playing flag football and practicing taekwondo. He would like to give a special thank you to his parents for being so supportive and helping him when he needed it!

 

Grace Nyquist

Grace is excited to be in her first NYT production! Grace has been doing theatre since she was in 3rd grade and has fallen in love with acting. Grace had a wonderful time in where Johnny Appleseed, Country Mouse and City Mouse, and James and The Giant Peach. Grace is going into 8th grade at Westgate Community School. When not doing theater you will usually find Grace listening to music. Grace would like to thank her cast for making this an amazing experience!

 

Logan Spatafore

Logan is delighted to participate in his 2nd NYT show, as Augustus Gloop. Logan is 10 years old and will be attending Manhattan Middle School, in the fall.  He has most recently played Scuttle in the Little Mermaid and Gomez Addams in Addams Family (The Studio School) and Olaf in Frozen (NYT); He would like to thank the cast & crew of Willy Wonka, Jr. for helping make this show awesome.

 

Etta McCurdy

Veruca Salt          

Etta is 9 years old and a 5th grader at The Studio School. She loved performing as Anna in Frozen Jr. and is so grateful to join NYT (her happy place!) for another amazing show. Her other favorite roles include Marian Paroo in Music Man Jr., Chip in Beauty and the Beast Jr., and Alana the mersister in The Little Mermaid Jr.  She was a state champion at the Night of the Stars Competition and dances competitively with TapsnToes Dance Studio. Etta would like to thank her family and teachers for their love and support. She is very grateful to Ms. Christina and Ms. Bussy for this opportunity.

 

Millie Marquez

Violet Beauregarde  

This will be Millie’s 4th production with NYT. She previously appeared in “My Sister, The Dragon” (Chloe), “All Together Now” and “Frozen Jr.” (Middle Anna/Snow Chorus). In her spare time, Millie can be found giving her dog, Zelda, hundreds of tiny little kisses. Millie is grateful to NYT for giving her an excuse to “go method” and prepare for her role by chewing as much gum as humanly possible…and as loudly as possible.

 

Aksel Gangji

Aksel is thrilled to be part of Willy Wonka as his 4th show with NYT! You may have seen him in Biggity Bad and the Three Pigs, My Sister the Dragon, and Frozen Jr. This fall he will be in 6th grade at Rocky Top Middle School. When he’s not on stage you can find him sewing, swimming, and coding. He would like to thank his family for the opportunity to join the NYT family!

 

Norah Hicks

Norah is delighted to participate in her first NYT production! Her past roles include Snoopy (You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown), Jane (Mary Poppins), Lavender (Matilda), and Milo (The Phantom Tollbooth). She can be found reading or knitting in the backseat of the car on her way to rehearsals. She has studied piano for six years and recently decided she likes it. Norah is an 8th grader in Denver Language School’s Spanish program. She’d like to thank Ms. Christina, Oliver and Janelle.

 

Chloe Hinton

This is Chloe’s first NYT production and is enjoying her experience! She has been a part of previous shows within her school which include“Big Bad: The Musical” and “James and the Giant Peach”. She also participated in the Missoula Children’s Theater production of “Sleeping Beauty”. Chloe will be a 6th grader this fall at Bromley East Charter School in Brighton. She enjoys attending Improv classes, spending time with family and friends and watching Stranger Things when she is not in school.”

 

Scarlet Westenskow

Scarlet enjoys being on stage and especially loves Northglenn Youth Theater. Her previous NYT experience was playing Mademoiselle Faye in My Sister the Dragon. This year she also performed in The Addam’s Family (Wednesday), The Little Mermaid (Aquata), and Matilda (Amanda Thripp). Scarlet is an avid reader and aspiring author. She would like to thank her family and her friends for always being up for playing improv games and singing karaoke with her.

 

Anna Sollohub

Anna is beyond ecstatic to do her very first production at NYT! She enjoys singing, drawing, and of course acting. Prior to this production, Anna has done music recitals, school plays, and acting camps. She also wants to thank her parents for being supportive and helping her along her journey through acting!

 

Layla Stark

Layla Stark is an aspiring 12-year-old actress who is delighted to appear in her first NYT production. Her previous performances include Aladdin, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Frozen, and Fame. She recently graduated from 6th grade at Westlake Middle School and enjoys reading, writing, and drawing when she’s not on stage. She would like to thank her mom and dad for helping her practice for her audition and always being supportive.

 

Valentina Zoe Morera

Valentina is 10 years old excited because this is her 3rd show in NYT. She was an online schooler for the past two years and she is excited to come back to school in person. She enjoys going to the pool, singing, dancing and traveling. Valentina loves animals especially cats and sloths she has a cat named Jupiter who is 10 months old! She has a tik tok account that is especially about the cat! And she loves doing videos with him.

 

Alice Hicks

James

Alice’s first musical was excited to be on stage for the first time since 2019. Previously she was a banker in Mary Poppins Molly in Annie. Alice loves to ski, swim and is quite crafty. She enjoys constructing fairy homes and furnishings and making origami mobiles. She also moonlights as a birthday party balloon artist. She has studied piano for four years and is a 5th grader in Denver Language School’s Spanish program. She’d like to thank Ms. Bussy, Ms. Christina, Janelle and Oliver.

 

Brycen Cosgrove

Brycen is very excited for his first experience with NYT. He is 10 years old and going into 5th grade. He enjoys spending time with friends and family, hockey, football, riding bikes, and anything related to the theater! He has preformed as Charlie Cowell in The Music Man Jr., Romeo in Newsies Jr., a seagull in The Little Mermaid Jr., and numerous other productions at The Studio School. He would like to thank his family, Mr. Sergeef, and Mr. Irwin for helping to create and foster his love for the performing arts!

 

Kylie Peterson

Kylie is 11 years old, and will be a 7th grader at Rocky Top Middle School this fall. This is her first NYT production, but she has performed on stage with Missoula Children’s Theatre productions of Johnny Appleseed, Cinderella, Treasure Island and Pinocchio. Outside of theatre, she enjoys reading (especially the Wings of Fire series) and sharing dinosaur trivia. She is enjoying making new friends with the NYT Jr. cast!

 

Lucy Hosterman

Lucy is thrilled to be back at NYT for her 4th show. Previously she has done, “Biggity Bad and the Three Little Pigs”, “All Together Now” and most recently, “Frozen jr”. Lucy is a, soon to be, fifth grader at Hulstrom K-8. When she is not onstage Lucy enjoys, reading, drawing, singing, and dancing. She would like to thank her Mom, Stepdad, Little Sister and her stuffed cow Mr. MooMoo for always being there for her and supporting her through the low and high times in theater. Also a very special thank you to all her cast members.

 

Esther Ehlis

Esther is extremely excited to be doing her second NYT production.  She is 9 years old and is a 4th grade homeschooler at Ascend.  She enjoys singing, reading, art, and playing sports.  Esther would like to thank her family for encouraging her, her sister Aliyah for inspiring her, and her friends for supporting her in musical theater.  Philippians 3:14”

 

Marley Ortego

Marley is 12 years of age. She’s an 8th grader at Roger Quist Middle school. She enjoys softball, dance and being a part of NYT. You may have seen her in Frozen Jr. as Queen Induna. She is very sad this is her last NYT Junior show but also happy for the many more to come with NYT. She is grateful for her aunt and mother for helping her with lines and keeping her on her toes.

 

Jetta Beaird

Jetta is excited to be in her very first NYT production! Her stage debut was in the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of “Sleeping Beauty.” As a 6th grader at Hulstrom, she has participated in Honors Choir, talent shows, volleyball, and cross country running.  When not on stage, Jetta is hanging out with friends or singing. Jetta would like to thank her family for encouraging her to follow her dreams, to her friend, Aksel for inspiring her to act, and to the cast for being a great group to learn from on her first production at NYT!

 

Leah Bell

Leah is so excited to be in her first show at NYT. She previously did theatre when she lived in Texas! Some of her roles have included Marie in Aristocats, Kaa the Snake in Jungle book, Amanda Thripp in Matilda jr, and Violet in Alice in wonderland. She would like to thank her parents for always supporting her. She would also like to thank her sister, who encourages and supports her in absolutely everything she does!

 

Skylar Bowdey

This is Skylar’s 2nd performance here at N.Y.T. She recently played in “Frozen JR”(Towns person/Oaken family)  and wants to thank her family for supporting her in her first big performance. Skylar is going into 4th grade and is so excited to finally perform “Willy Wonka JR”!

 

Freya Hicks

Freya is thrilled to be making her stage debut! Prior to Willy Wonka, she participated in many musical productions as an enthusiastic audience member. A black-diamond skier and passionate lover of canines, Freya aspires to be a ski patroller and avalanche-rescue-dog handler. She began taking piano lessons last fall and practices willingly. She is a 3rd grader in Denver Language School’s Spanish program. She’d like to thank Ms. Bussy, Ms. Christina, Oliver and Janelle.

 

Sophia Kafer

Sophia is excited to participate in her first public theater performance and has been credited as the Ensemble Dance Captain for this production of Willy Wonka Jr. Her passions and talents are dance, gymnastics and volleyball.  Clay modeling, painting and crocheting are a few of her favorite hobbies along with caring for her dogs, Chester and Lilly.  She spends many hours making her friends and family laugh through her comic relief and looks forward to other opportunities to share her talents in the future.

 

Aidan McGilvray

Aidan is excited to be in his first show through Northglenn Youth Theatre after seeing his older brothers in multiple performances. He is going into 5th grade at Stargate and enjoys playing soccer. This is the perfect show for Aidan to start his acting career as he’s always had somewhat of a “sweet tooth” and was known around the house as our hummingbird. He enjoys singing, climbing trees and rocks, playing games, skiing, and making people laugh. He would like to thank his mom and dad for letting him take part in such an amazing production.

 

Gabriella Mullica

Gabby is excited to be back for another NYT production!  She’s a 3rd grader at The Studio School in Northglenn where she participates in the all school musical and choir.  Her passion is theater and when she’s not on stage you’ll find her cruising on her skateboard or in the pool.  Gabby would like to thank her family for encouraging her to follow her dreams.  Also a huge thank you for the NYT staff that make this amazing opportunity possible!

 

Zoe C. Peterson

Zoe is 8 years old and entering third grade at Prairie Hills Elementary. This is her first role in an NYT production; she has previously performed with Missoula Children’s Theatre in Johnny Appleseed and Cinderella. She enjoys reading, dancing and learning to play the piano. Zoe is excited to be in Willy Wonka Jr., and is looking forward to performing on stage with the rest of the cast!

 

Keira Leigh Quinn

Keira is 10 and entering 5th Grade at Sierra Elementary where she is in Sierra Singers, Art Club, and 100 Mile Club.  Her hobbies are jumping on the trampoline, Taekwondo plus arts and crafts. Keira is excited to be in her first production with NYT.  Her previous roles with the Missoula Children’s Theater include Pioneer in Johnny Appleseed and Hatter in The Emporer’s New Clothes.  She sang two solos and a duet for the Movie Magic Concert at the Oriental Theater.  Keira would like to thank her family and her Vocal Teacher Scott for giving her the confidence to go for it!

 

Amelia Vigil

Amelia is excited to be in her 1st NYT Production. Amelia’s stage experience comes from The Studio School in Northglenn, where she has been in Choir, Musical Theatre Dance, their grade level performances along with her role in the Chorus of the All-School Musical of Beauty and the Beast.  If not on stage, she has enjoyed being a part of the Stage Crew of other school musicals. Amelia also enjoys gymnastics, basketball, and hanging out with friends.  Amelia would like to thank her parents for encouraging her as well as her cousin Jennifer for helping her get ready for this audition.

 

Sophia Weiser

Sophia is excited to be on the stage for the first time. She is a student of the NYT in an acting class and loves to learn more about singing, dancing and developing a characther. She recently won 2nd place at the Singing Competition for Children’s Art Festival for the Colorado Mongolian Association.

She is 8 years old and finished 2nd grade at the Hulstrom K-8. In her free time she likes to read, make arts, and sing.

 

Sydney Williams

Sydney Williams is 11 years old and starting 6th grade this fall at Century Middle School. She previously appeared in NYT’s My Sister, the Dragon and is excited to now be in her first musical. In her free time she enjoys running 5Ks, playing piano, and spending time with her brother and sister. She is also an avid fan of all things Harry Potter. Sydney would like to thank both her family for all their support and encouragement and all the cast/crew for their dedication and hard work!”

Christina Roberts

Director

Christina Roberts is an NYT alumni and is so excited to be directing in the beautiful new Parsons Theatre. Christina is an award-winning director, teacher, facilitator, and actor who spent the last several years as the Director of Theatre Education at the Stanley Marketplace (alongside the talented and wonderful Bussy Gower!). Christina is the performing arts instructor at DSST Montview, runs a private acting and voice studio, and is a teaching artist with NYTA. Previous teaching, playwriting, and directing credits include Kaiser Permanente’s Arts Integrated Resources, Denver Museum of Nature and Science exhibits, Denver Language School, Aurora Public Schools, Thompson R2-J, and multiple theatre companies along the Front Range. She holds a BA in Theatre Education from the University of N. Colorado and is currently working on her MA in Arts Leadership and Cultural Management at Colorado State University.

Jaime McNear

Jaime McNear is a Denver-raised costume, paint and props enthusiast who got into live theatre for the life-sized dolls and stayed for the camraderie and teamwork. A smattering of her recent design works include: The Spitfire Grill with Phamaly Theatre Company, The Arsonists with Benchmark, The Vibrator Play with Fearless Theatre and Frida Kahlo and the Bravest Girl in the World with Central City Opera. Willy Wonka Jr. is her first show designing costumes with NYT; she has loved the experience.

 

Christopher M. Waller

Set Designer

Christopher is the Technical Director for the Parsons Theatre and a resident designer for NYT. He is also owner and principal designer for Waller Designs, a local entertainmnent design and technology company. He holds a BA in Theatre Arts from Sterling College and an MFA in Theatre Design and Technology from the University of Georgia. He has taught and designed live theatre, dance and corporate productions in Atlanta, St. Louis, Denver and Boulder.

 

Forest Fowler

Sound Designer

This is Forest’s second show with the Northglenn youth theatre. His other credits include design for the University of Colorado for which he won the KCACTF award of merit, the Wit Theatre Company, Atlantic City Productions, Rattlesnake productions, and the Denver Museum of Contemporary Art; as well as technical work for the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Curious Theatre Company, and the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.

 

Scott Stark

Props Manager

Scott brings experience gained in the Washington DC community theatre scene back to his home state of Colorado and is delighted to once again be part of the magic of stagecraft! (Fun fact: as a teenager, he lifeguarded at Webster Lake in the park across the street from Parsons Theatre.) Scott would like to thank Layla for being his wonderful assistant prop mistress and an even better daughter.

 

Emily A. Maddox

Lighting Designer

Emily Maddox is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s Peggy Dow Helmerich School of Drama. She graduated with a BFA in Drama with an emphasis in Lighting Design. She has been involved in theater for 14 years. Emily has been interested in the backstage workings of theater since a very young age. She became involved in technical theater in high school and has been developing her design skills ever since. Emily’s background in music, photography, and fine art give her a unique approach to design and storytelling.

Janelle Campbell is a graduate of Northglenn High School and a student at Harding University majoring in Forensic Science with a minor in theatre. This is her first show at Northglenn Youth Theatre!

Oliver Weible is a student at DSST Montview High School this is his second show with Northglenn and his first time as an Assistant Stage Manager.

 

Reagan Sanford

Reagan Sanford is a homeschooled highschooler. This is her second show with NYT, third on tech crew, and her first time as an assistant stage manager.

Eleanor Savage is going to be a student at Riverdale Ridge High School this is her 4th show with NYT acting in three, this being her first time on tech crew.
