Ian Amaro … Shrek
Ian is amazed to be leading the show as Shrek! As this will be his LAST NYT JR SHOW! Other roles he played include Melman (Madagascar) Davey (Newsies JR) Greylag (Honk JR). Aside from Theatre, he loves spending time with friends and family, gaming, art, and loves to sing! He would like to thank his music teachers, Mikaela, Holzapfel, and Aliyah Ehlis! Get ready to be invited into the swamp for a thrilling show!
Xander Harrison … Donkey
Xander is beyond excited to be a part of this production and cast. This is his 4th performance with NYT. Previous shows include: Winnie the Pooh, The Enchanted Bookshop and Honk. Xander is going to be a 7th grader at Stargate. He enjoys going to the gym, singing, cooking, watching movies and hanging out with his friends. He would like to thank his fellow amazing castmates for all their support and his family and friends for always supporting his dreams.
Etta McCurdy … Princess Fiona
Etta is thrilled to be back at NYT for her 5th production! When not enjoying choir and creative writing as a rising 7th grader at Westlake Middle school, she can be found immersed in all things singing and theatre. Some of her favorite past roles include Veruca Salt in Willy Wonka Jr., Anna in Frozen Jr., Chip in Beauty and the Beast, and Brigitta in Sound of Music. Etta would like to thank her NYT family for always allowing her Freak Flag to fly!
Lucy Hosterman … Lord Farquaad
Lucy is excited for her 8th show with NYT! Some of her favorite previous shows include Willy Wonka Jr, Alice in Wonderland Jr, and most recently Honk Jr. When she’s not in the theater you could find her drawing, listening to music, hanging out with her sister, or organizing everything. She would like to thank her mom and dad for driving her to endless amount of rehearsals, her little sister for being her #1 fan, Applebees for dealing with about 30-50 kids 3 times a year, and lastly NYT for putting on such a amazing production.
Karigan Kirkley … Storyteller 1
Presenting for her 4th NYT show where Karigan came to life as Dorothy in The Enchanted Bookshop, partied in the jungle in Madagascar Jr., and was kept in line as Barnacles in Honk Jr. Karigan also awed as the elephant bird in Seussical, sang it up in Music Man, made us laugh as Young Fiona in Shrek, and went with the flow as Crush from Finding Nemo, Jr. Beyond the stage, she conquers bowling lanes, rides noble steeds, and explores mountain trails. With gratitude, she honors her father, NYT friends, and the wise Miss Grace.
Jubilee Ehlis… Storyteller 2
Jubilee is excited to be performing in her second NYT show! Her previous shows include Honk Jr (Ensemble) and Character Matters (Mama Bear). She is a 4th grader at Ascend Homeschool CO-OP, and in her free time, she enjoys riding her bike, swimming, eating concessions and coloring. Jubilee would like to thank her family for helping her with the show, especially Aliyah and Esther for encouraging her to audition. God Bless you at IAMT, Aliyah! Micaela Moore … Storyteller 3
Micaela is so excited for her third performance at NYT. Her two latest performances at NYT have been Madagascarwhere she played the role as Lioness and Honk Jr where she was ensemble. Micaela is a fifth grader at Escuela Valdez. Micaela has always loved singing and acting and has a dream of becoming a well known actress. She is also very athletic and is a competitive gymnast. Micaela is also going to Denver School of the Arts as a vocal major in 6th grade. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Keira Quinn … Dragon
Keira is happy to be back at NYT for her 4th production. Keira became interested in theater two years ago and has enjoyed performing in Finding Nemo JR, Mean Girls High School Version, SpongeBob the Musical, Newsies JR, Winnie the Pooh KIDS, Alice in Wonderland and Willie Wonka JR. Keira is entering 7th Grade at Oberon Middle School in Arvada where she enjoyed Creative Writing, not eating the school lunch and of course her theatre class. She thanks her family and friends for their love and support!
Chloe Hinton …Gingy
Chloe is thrilled to be in her seventh NYT production! Previous shows which include Honk Jr., Madagascar Jr., The Enchanted Bookshop, Alice in Wonderland, Willy Wonka Jr, and Winnie the Pooh and other productions Toy Camp, Big Bad: The Musical, and James and the Giant Peach. Chloe just finished her 7th grade year at Bromley East Charter School in Brighton. She would like to thank the cast and crew for being so supportive and kind during this amazing show!
Millie Marquez … Pinnochio
Millie wasn’t sure if she’d get the role of Pinocchio, but she branched out and pulled a few strings. Some of Millie’s past NYT Jr. shows include The Enchanted Bookshop, Madagascar Jr. , and Honk Jr. Millie also practiced playing a real boy in Shawdowlands. Much like Pinocchio himself, Millie knows the importance of always telling the truth. She learned this while skydiving over shark-infested waters in the Caribbean with her BFF, Olivia Rodrigo.
Autumn Mariotti … Wicked Witch
This is Autumn’s 6th NYT production! Her favorite role to date was Tom Sawyer in The Enchanted Bookshop. Shrek Jr. is especially meaningful for Autumn as both her older brothers are in Tech! Autumn has a great love for dogs and squishmallows and will be in 7th grade next year at Broomfield Heights. She would like to give a huge group hug to everyone who has supported her as well as all the cast, crew, and staff.
Emerson Shumate … Peter Pan
Emerson is a 7th grader at Century Middle School and this is their 2nd NYT second show. Emerson’s favorite roles have been Lady in Red in The Enchanted Bookshop at NYT and Prince Lew in Rapunzel at the Jesters Dinner Theater. When not performing, you’ll find Emerson with a book in hand or mid-edit on one of the novels they’re currently writing. They would like to thank their theater and school besties for all of their encouragement. She hopes as you watch this show you will “think of a wonderful thought.”
Haley Goldberg … Ugly Duckling
Haley is excited to be joining NYT for this production. She’s performed in productions such as CATS the musical and Cinderella. She also debuted as Sophia in her first on screen role, a short film The Golden Lion. Haley will be a 6th grader at Thunder Vista in the fall. Haley loves to continue expressing her creative side by drawing, crocheting and singing. Haley would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her.
Luna Province … Pied Piper
Luna is ecstatic to be back playing her part as the Pied Piper in her 3rd NYT show. Luna played in Madagascar Jr as Lynn The Lemur and a Cameraman, she also recently played in Honk! Jr as the lead role, Ugly. Her love for theater stemmed from the musical Chicago, after seeing it live, she knew what she wanted to do. Luna would love to thank her mom, her dad, and her side dad which has sacrificed their time to take her to all of her rehearsals. She loves whoever may be reading this as well, and wants to let them know they are so cool.
Ryker Schindler … Big Bad Wolf
Ryker is excited to be performing in his 3rd NYT show! Previous NYT shows : Lars in Madagascar Jr., Billy in Honk Jr.He’d like to thank his sister, Mikaela, for being there for shows and being musical director, his sister Alexis for being a role model and shining a light towards a great future for him in theatre, to his brothers Kobe & Cade for supporting him, and to his Dad & Mom for always being there for his shows and letting him audition for any shows he wants to be in.
Devyn Knoepfle … Young Fiona
Devyn is thrilled to be performing her first show at NYT! She has played the role of Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Kiara and Kula in The Lion King, and Aladdin in Aladdin. When she’s not on stage, Devyn likes creating art, singing, learning new dances, writing stories, and spending time with family. Devyn thanks her family for being supportive of her and her passions.
Em Long … Teen Fiona
Em is happy to be back at NYT! She was previously in Honk Jr and in her school musical, Abandoned Way Out West. She just finished 6th at Silver Hills Middle School. She loves to sing and spend time with friends. She also volunteers as a Unified Partner with Special Olympics. Em would like to thank her family and the amazing cast and tech crew she gets to work with.
Logan Spatafore … Dwarf
Logan is excited to be back for his 7th NYT show. His previous shows include Addams Family and The Little Mermaid, as well as Frozen and Winnie the Pooh. Logan was proud to receive the NYT’s Director’s Choice for Excellence award for both Olaf (Frozen, Jr.) and Skipper (Madagascar, Jr.) When not on stage, you can find Logan either swimming, reading or making crafts. Logan would like to thank the audience for coming!
DaLilah Padilla … Bishop
DaLilah is overjoyed to be in her first NYT play. She attends Silver Hills middle school where she recently in Abandoned Way Out West. She will in the 7th grade and enjoys classes such as science, drama, art, and choir. DaLilah loves to crochet, make jewelry, enjoys being outdoors, riding her bike, jumping on the trampoline and playing with her friends and family. DaLilah is creative, kind and confident in her unique personality.
Kyleigh Lucas … Puss in Boots
Kyleigh is 11 and will attend Century Middle School in the fall. This will be her 3rd NYT production including Winnie the Pooh and Madagascar. She has also been in other plays such as Frozen Jr., Matilda Jr., and The Big One-Oh. Kyleigh would like to thank her parents who have encouraged her to pursue acting and continuing to audition with NYT.
Jillian Masiello … Mama Ogre
Jillian is thrilled to be performing in her 1st NYT show. Previous shows include Moana Jr and Honk Jr. Jillian is a homeschooled 8th grader who loves to do competitive gymnastics in her free time. If she is not in the gym or on stage, you will find her on the soccer field. Jillian would like to thank her mom for showing her how great theater can be and her Dad and siblings for supporting her.
Jack Nickerson … Papa Ogre
Jack is excited to join NYT for his 3rd show. He will be in 8th grade at Faith Christian Academy in the fall, is active in youth group and volunteers for KUVO public radio. Jack is creative and can build just about anything and can usually be found in his studio or at the Anythink library making something cool. Jack is having a great time, and plans on doing many more productions. John 3:16-18
Fischer Sudderth … Baby Ogre
Fischer is excited to learn, as this is his first production. Fischer is going into 4th grade at McKinley Thatcher where he enjoys drama and art. Since he was little he has been in costume and acting as whichever character he chooses to be that day. Now he spends his time drawing anime and other characters and loves swimming, skiing, and playing at the park with his friends. Fischer would like to thank Lauren Garcia (LG), his drama teacher, for inspiring him to audition.
Mo Eckert … Capt. of the Guard
Mo Eckert is excited to be in her first NYT show in addition to in-school productions. Their favorites were Willy Wonka, Music man Jr., Footloose, And Matilda. Mo is a 7th grader at Silver Hills Middle School and enjoys playing piano, painting, singing, drawing, and writing. She appreciates her family and the way they’ve supported Mo in their interest in theatre growing up.
Bentley Cook … Knight 1
Bentley is excited to begin her acting journey. She is on the competitive dance company at The Dance Movement and has won various awards for her solo and group routines. Bentley enjoys creating artwork, singing, swimming, riding bikes, and hanging with friends. Bentley is happy to be able to dance and perform on stage for you.
Cammi Kinsey… Knight 2
Cammi is excited to be back at NYT for her 2nd show. She was previously in Madagascar Jr. and in two musicals Hackberry Hill. Cammi is an incoming 7th grader at Hulstrom K-8. When not on stage, she can be found practicing for gymnastics competitions, playing her clarinet, reading, or adventuring in the mountains. She hopes to, one day, end up on Broadway.
Mia Jones… Knight 3
Mia is excited for her first NYT show. Mia is a 6th grader at Prospect Ridge Academy where she is a member of choir and musical theater. She enjoys taking voice lessons and attending dance classes at Gayton Dance. Mia also volunteers with the tots dance class and enjoys helping new dancers start their journey. Mia would like to thank all the people in her life that encourage her to take chances, work hard, and follow her dreams.
Sophia Weiser … Knight 4
Sophia is excited to be back at NYT for her 5th production. Previous shows include Alice in Wonderland, Willy Wonka Jr, Winnie the Pooh, and Beauty and the Beast. She has received the “Most Improved Actor” award twice from NYT. She is a 5th grader at Peak to Peak School. She likes singing, playing volleyball, and crafting.
Gabby Herd … Mama Bear
Gabby is THRILLED to be back at her 5th show at NYT. Previous shows include Honk (Jay Bird), Madagascar(Mason), Enchanted Bookshop (Queen of Hearts), and Winnie the Pooh (Indigo the Narrator). She likes to write, make bracelets, and listen to music. Gabby wants to thank her family for taking her to rehearsals and her AMAZING cast mates for all the hard work and wants to remind everyone to always let their freak flags fly!!
William Moore … Papa Bear
Will is ecstatic to be in his 2nd show at NYT. Will’s latest performance was Honk Jr (Bewick). Will is a 5th grader at Valdez Elementary and he loves acting and hopes to be in many more shows. Will also enjoys running, gaming and having fun with his friends. Next year, Will is attending the Denver School of the Arts as a Video Cinema Arts major.
Allie Judd … Baby Bear
Allie is excited to be performing in her 2nd NYT show. Last summer she was Toto in The Enchanted Bookshop. She is in 4th grade at Prospect Ridge Academy. She enjoys playing soccer, tennis, reading, writing, and listening to soundtracks from other musicals. She would like to thank all the many helpers that made this production possible, as well as her family and friends for always supporting her.
Emmalie Matthies … Pig 1
Emmalie is excited to spend her summer acting!! She has loved all her NYT experiences, this will be her 4th production. She would like to thank her parents and siblings for always being in the seats!! I LOVE you all!!
Zoe Peterson … Pig 2
Zoe will be 5th grader at Prairie Hills Elementary where she is a part of No Place for Hate, Battle of the Books and Cross Country. Zoe enjoys drawing and playing with her dog, Piper. Past NYT Jr. shows have included Willy Wonka, Alice in Wonderland, Winnie the Pooh Jr., Madagascar and Honk. She is excited to be a part of the cast!
Charlie Kinsey … Pig 3
Charlie is very excited to be in his first NYT show. He has participated in three musicals Matilda Jr, Shrek Jr, and Lion King Jr. Charlie is an upcoming 3rd grader at Hulstrom K-8. He enjoys playing Pokémon, building with Legos, playing soccer, snuggling with his dogs, or reading. Charlie hopes to be in many more NYT productions and to one day become a veterinarian.
Izzie Del Pizzo… Ensemble
Although she has appeared in numerous plays at Backstory Theater, Izzie is excited to perform in her first NYT musical. She will be a 6th grader at STEM Lab, where she is a member of the National STEM Honor Society. She also plans to join the D&D Club. You can find Izzie either gaming or singing. She is also a Brazilian American and is fluent in Portuguese. Izzie would like to thank her parents for believing in her, and her friends for making so many funny jokes about Shrek.
Mariana Aburto… Ensemble
Mariana is delighted to be part of her 5th NYT show, following her roles in Winnie the Pooh, The Enchanted Bookshop, Madagascar, and Honk, she is currently expanding her skills by participating in multiple workshops. Mariana engages in school activities, solving math problems, practicing the violin, or hanging out with her friends. She would like to express her heartfelt thanks to her family for their unwavering support and to the NYT for this wonderful opportunity.
Livy Cosgrove… Ensemble
Livy is 10 and just finished 5th grade at The Studio School. She is excited to be back with NYT. Her previous productionsinclude Winnie the Pooh The Enchanted Bookshop, and Madagascar Jr.. along with The Studio School production Frozen Jr. She enjoys martial arts, swimming, and spending time with family and friends. She would like to thank her directors, choreographers, her amazing teachers and principal, and her family and friends for all of their support.
Kaitlyn Judd … Ensemble
Kaitlyn is excited to be performing in her 2nd show at NYT. You may have seen her last summer as Bombarurina in The Enchanted Bookshop. Kaitlyn enjoys playing tennis, swimming, having fun with her two little sisters, playing with friends, and doing crafts. She will be a 6th grader at Prospect Ridge Academy. Kaitlyn would like to thank the NYT staff for making this production amazing and her parents for encouraging her to keep going, even when times get tough.
Ireland Bennett… Ensemble
Ireland is 11 and will be in 6th grade. This is her 3rd time performing with NYT and has performed in various other musicals prior. She loves piano, crochet, Ju Jitsu and is passionate with science being part of National Stem Honors Society. She received the award of Directors Right Hand with Rocky Mountains Kids theatre. When she not performing she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Northglenn Youth Theatre Academy (NYTA) participants explore real-world acting, vocal, and dance technique as well as audition and performance skills all while having fun!
