Performing with the Mountain Range High School Chamber Choir
With Musical Direction by Heather Schenck

Join us in the DL Parsons Theatre for an intimate performance with the Denver Municipal Band.  Provided free of charge thanks to grant funding from the Scientific, Cultural and Facilities District (SCFD). Even though this is a free event, there is limited space available. You must have a ticket to enter.

The Denver Municipal Band is re-establishing the year round activity it enjoyed in the 19th and early 20th centuries. In addition to the full forty-piece concert band, the DMB family of ensembles includes a 17- piece jazz band, jazz combo, brass band, plus woodwind and brass quintets. These smaller groups regularly present concerts in schools and community centers.

Heather Schenck teaches Choir, Drama, and AP Music Theory at Mountain Range High School. Her groups have received numerous awards including the honor of performing for the Colorado Music Educators Association and most recently performed in Branson, MO with over 80 students.  Heather serves on the Colorado All-State Choir Board as Chair-Elect and the South Western American Choral Directors Association Board as Treasure.  She also sings with the Voices of Light Chamber Choir, a semi-professional chorus in Denver.
